2Structure and plywood
Use thin plywood to create flat planes. Use separate structural blocks and ribs wherever hardware, Wedi, or the curved ceiling needs real support.

Before closing the driver wall: dry-fit the purchased Scandvik 14140. Record the two 5/8-in mixer penetrations, both rail mounts, 1/2-in supply-adapter clearances and hose travel. Draw each 3/4-in block and its 80/20 fasteners. A thin continuous skin is for flatness, not attachment strength.
3Floor, drain and curbs
The floor has one decision path: prove the drain route, dry-fit the kit, then remove vinyl only inside the verified bond footprints.

Layout study only, not cut dimensions. Recalculate from the final waterproof wall planes and verified drain center. Keep at least 2 inches from the drain opening and remake the required 1/2 x 1/2 perimeter channel with at least 1/4 inch of base below it.
The system is selected; the hole is not. X = 20 is inside the measured 16-to-24 feasible band. The proposed cut leaves about 19.15 inches from the finished driver edge, 32.09 inches from the finished wardrobe edge, and about 10.17 inches fore and aft. Those distances exceed wedi's 2-inch drain-opening minimum. Before ordering today, verify that the corresponding 5-inch floor-hole zone is clear below and that a supported 2-inch waste route can leave it with fall and service access.

Planning height: using the stock 1.578-in base edge, Wedi's 3/16-to-5/16-in compressed setting bed, and the provisional 0.10-in finish allowance gives roughly 1.87 to 1.99 in above the exposed structural subfloor. Relative to the former top-of-vinyl plane, that is roughly 1.74 to 1.86 in. A heavily trimmed base edge can be lower. These are planning values, not final installed dimensions; measure the actual trimmed edge and approved finish system before door heights are cut.
Datum conversion: the removed vinyl measured 1/8 in. Add 0.125 in to any cable, opening, curb, or door height previously recorded from its top surface when restating that height from the exposed-subfloor datum. Re-measure after removal wherever a cut depends on the result.
The Click and Seal drain body sits below the floor. The installation uses a 5 in subfloor opening and a 2 in nominal Schedule 40 waste pipe cut flush with the subfloor for a curbed installation. North American HepvO is sold only in 1.25 and 1.5 in sizes, so the current HepvO idea necessarily adds a 2-to-1.5 transition. Keep the waste package held until the underside route proves the reducer position, fall, support and cab-side service access.

Open cable chase and service-access diagram
The cable box remains outside the pan. Its fixed wet-side cover is 14.5 long, 2 high, and 2 proud of the existing cab plywood. It ends about 38 from the wardrobe, leaving about 1/4 to the parked D2 leaf. The route turns into the driver wall; cab-side access at the battery remains removable.
4D1 kitchen door
A simple inward-opening panel: intact plywood on the strike side, one standard oak upright at C, one oak head, and a continuous Wedi curb behind the dry oak apron.

- Dry-fit the intact 31.5 x 76 plywood and mark the finished opening edge. Do not rip or replace it.
- Crosscut the standard 1 x 2 hinge upright to 72, fasten it through to verified support at C, then field-fit the 1 x 2 head from the remaining board.
- Dry-fit the 1 x 4 kitchen-side apron with the continuous Wedi curb immediately behind it; keep all apron fasteners out of the curb top and wet face.
- Dry-fit curb, hinge, stop, gasket and latch on a cheap 19.5 mockup leaf.
- Waterproof and finish all fixed parts. Measure the finished opening in at least three places.
- Cut the 12 mm 9-ply Baltic-birch leaf last. Apply the approved reinforced microcement system to its shower face, seal the other face, all edges and every hardware hole, then hang it and add the closing hardware.
5D2 cab slider
A wet-side, top-hung slider with no floor rail. The 19-inch leaf closes over an 18-inch clear opening and parks 1/4 inch before the cable box.

- Tape the raw cutout, seat-aisle center, 18 clear opening, 0.5 overlaps, cable-box end and 18.875 travel.
- Bench-fit the delivered 4-ft track, hangers, clip stops and BG1 guide on a 19 x 3/4 mockup leaf with a hardwood top rail. Verify the parked edge ends about 1/4 before the cable box.
- Build structural head and jambs tied to verified cab structure. Wedi does not carry the rail.
- Install curb, returns and waterproofing without penetrating the wet floor.
- Measure the finished head-to-curb opening, then fabricate and coat the final leaf.
- Install replaceable seals and independent closed and parked travel latches.
6Waterproofing and finish
Wedi makes the enclosure waterproof. Microcement is the finish. Keep those jobs separate and use one approved system for each substrate.

- Mechanically fix 1/2 wedi through driver and cab support planes into verified structure. Thin plywood skins create plane and layout, not primary holding strength.
- Use wedi Joint Sealant at standard Fundo, panel, curb and penetration connections in the bead width and spread specified by the current manual. Do not invent an extra full-surface sealing slurry.
- Obtain written wedi instructions before bonding 1/4 board to kitchen plywood or wardrobe melamine in this moving vehicle application.
- Obtain written microcement-system approval over wedi, including primer, mesh, base, finish, sealer, joints and movement limits. Use one complete manufacturer's system.
- Microcement fixed walls, curbs, jambs and infill. Use the separate approved reinforced plywood sequence on the D1 shower face; paint or separately seal D2. Keep all door edges, hardware holes and gasket lands repairable.
- Flood or leak test the completed waterproof enclosure before primer or microcement.
7Ventilation, porthole and drying
Parked for this release. The wall reservation and earlier VETUS study remain documented so core framing does not block them, but no fan, cowl or porthole is selected for purchase today and no exterior opening should be cut.

Why both: the fan provides dependable extraction; the porthole adds daylight, passive parked ventilation and a large optional make-up opening. At roughly 50 cubic feet, 41 CFM is about one theoretical room-air change every 75 seconds. Long low-power operation and airflow behind garments matter more to wet-gear drying than a brief 200 CFM purge.
Control: provide OFF / LOW / HIGH plus a timer or delayed shutoff. A normal shower wants an after-run; wet towels and wetsuits may want several hours. The 12 V positive feed uses the manufacturer-specified 500 mA fuse. Do not bury the switch, fan, sleeve seals or cowl fasteners behind permanent finish.
Do not cut or order yet. Tape the 7.80 porthole frame, 6.85 cut, 10 x 10 fan zone, 5.125 fan face, 3 fan cut and approximately 5.83 x 4.96 exterior cowl at full size. Verify the marker light, plywood edges, cab structure, D2 rail/leaf/hooks, wall thickness and cargo-box clearance together.

The concept uses a full-surface bond because the plywood is continuous. Do not select adhesive or prepare the plywood until wedi approves the exact vertical application in writing. The kitchen face is the only wall face currently shown with finish on both sides.

Do not put wedi on the bolt heads and do not notch the wedi. Measure the tallest head from the factory-plywood face, then use the thinnest actual plywood that finishes at least 1/16 beyond it. A 1/4 actual skin works only if every head is 3/16 proud or less; the reported approximately 1/4 heads keep 3/8 provisional. Drill clearance holes so the skin bears directly on the factory plywood. Fasten wedi through this plane into factory structure; the skin is not the structure.

Starts at: the fibreglass shell itself, stepped back 5/8
The shell is approximately 5/8 behind the lower factory-plywood plane. Build scribed plywood ribs from the ledge to a verified structural head, then skin them with the same thickness selected below. The front of both skins becomes one plane, allowing a full-height wedi sheet or staggered wedi joint to cross the ledge. This remains one flat vertical wall plane; only its top edge is scribed to the new curved ceiling. Do not try to wrap wall board around the shell corner. Template the top and provide blocking at every edge and opening before cutting finish material.

V · Driver side wall
Starts at: 1 x 2 80/20 aluminum over insulation
Use 1/2 plywood ripped into furring strips only to create the support grid and correct low spots. Inset the strips and 3/4 fixture blocks between the 80/20 members with their faces flush whenever possible; putting every 1/2 strip on top would add 1/2 and defeat the space goal. The 1/4 skin makes the plane but does not hold plumbing. Bolt 3/4 blocks to the 80/20 at the mixer, drop-ear elbow, shower-head hook and accessories. Mechanically fix wedi through the skin to the approved support grid; do not rely on adhesive to aluminum or 1/4 ply.

F · Floor
Starts at: exposed structural birch subfloor after removing 1/8 roll vinyl
The 1/8 roll vinyl continues under the wardrobe and across the kitchen floor. Do not pull it from beneath fixed cabinetry. Score and selectively remove it only where the Fundo and curbs bond to the subfloor. Terminate each cut at the dry face of a curb or fixed wet-room boundary and protect/seal the remaining dry-side edge. Within the bond footprints, remove adhesive residue. The exposed structural subfloor becomes elevation 0.000. Any old height taken from the vinyl surface converts to the new datum by adding 0.125. Inspect and repair the subfloor before layout. The finished assembly does not include the removed vinyl. A continuous waterproof tray follows. Corner A reportedly contains an approximately 2 high x 2 wide cable envelope. Its lower cab-wall box ends 38 from the wardrobe, or 14.5 from nominal A, then the route turns into the full driver-wall cavity. Current bundle: system ground, large charge cable and Wolfbox cable. Proposed bundle after moving the ground rearward: large charge cable plus Wolfbox only. Neither version goes under or through the pan. The cab-wall box is 2 high and 2 proud of existing plywood, waterproofed as a fixed enclosure with access from the cab side. Pull access stays in the cab at the battery; there is no chase in or under the pan.

H · Ceiling
Starts at: fibreglass shell, curved at the cab end
Keep the first 12 in flat at 76.25, then make one smooth scribed curve to 72 at the cab. The 14.335 in radius and 11.331 in arc are reference geometry, not rib cut dimensions. First template the shell. Cut paired 3/4 plywood profile ribs at the driver and wardrobe edges, bridge them with transverse battens at no more than 6 in stations, and laminate two 3 mm okoume skins over the curve. Anchor ribs and battens only to verified vehicle structure. wedi permits relief-cut bending, but its specialty guide says cut panels in wet areas need waterproofing over them; obtain the exact written wedi method before cutting or installing the 1/2 in ceiling board.

9Build order
The project has five phases. Finish each phase's measurements and tests before committing the next layer.
Open complete fourteen-step build sequence
- Release the core kit: mark drain X/Y, inspect the 5-inch zone below it and prove a supported 2-inch waste route. If clear, order US2000001 and one bag of PRO-SET US5076012 today.
- Close dry-structure measurements: 80/20 spacing and coplanarity, selected fixture centers, every cab bolt head, full-size upper-shell/curved-ceiling profile and both door datums.
- Get written approvals: wedi attachment/bond methods, the full microcement-over-wedi system, and the separate reinforced microcement sequence over the moving 12 mm Baltic-birch D1 leaf. Ventilation approval is deferred with the parked package.
- Make full-size mockups: D1 inward swing and seals; D2 with its delivered uncut rail, hangers and guide; the paired curved-ceiling ribs; curb positions and proposed floor/drain center. Preserve the fan/porthole wall reservation but do not cut it.
- Expose the floor datum: dry-lay the Fundo and curbs, mark their exact bond footprints, then score and remove the 1/8 vinyl only inside those lines. Preserve the sheet beneath the wardrobe and across the kitchen, terminate it at the dry curb/boundary face, and protect/seal that dry-side edge. Inspect flatness, stiffness, seams and damage; repair before layout.
- Rough in below the floor: drain, supported waste line, trap/valve and service access. Pressure or leak test before covering.
- Build dry structure: driver furring and fixture blocks, cab overlays/ribs, cable box and conduit route, paired ceiling profile ribs, five transverse battens and two-layer 3 mm curved skin, D1 fixed frame and D2 structural head/rail backing. Keep the parked fan/porthole reservation clear.
- Dry cut the waterproof shell: Fundo base, both curbs, wall panels, ceiling panels and door openings. Label every piece. Do not cut a ventilation opening until that package is reopened and selected.
- Set the floor system: waste pipe, Click and Seal drain, Fundo base and curbs using the selected product manual.
- Install walls and ceiling: maintain specified framing, fastener spacing, edge support, sealant beads and penetration details.
- Test waterproofing: cure as required, then flood/leak test and inspect below and from cab access.
- Finish fixed surfaces: approved primer, mesh/base, microcement and sealer with slopes and gasket lands preserved.
- Fabricate door leaves last: measure finished openings, apply the approved reinforced microcement build to the D1 shower face, seal its remaining faces/edges/holes, finish D2 as specified, then hang and seal.
- Commission for travel: hose test, drain test, door-cycle test, vibration/rattle check and positive latch check. Add fan, cowl and porthole tests only when the parked ventilation package is built.

The complete kit is the preferred order because it bundles the selected base, drain, curb, stainless cover and enough 1/2-in wall-system material for this takeoff. The computed 1/2-in requirement is 39.0 sq ft net / 46.0 with waste. The kit's standard three-wall coverage is larger. The separate 1/4-in panels below remain a later approval item.

11What remains, in working order
Four checks control nearly every remaining purchase and cut.

- Today / release the core kit: leave the vinyl intact, mark X = 20 and centered Y on top of it, inspect and photograph directly below the entire 5-in hole zone, and prove where the supported 2-in waste can run. If clear, order US2000001, US5076012 and one spare US5000013 cartridge.
- When the kit arrives: dry-lay the base and both curb cuts first. Mark their exact bond footprints, then selectively remove the 1/8 vinyl inside those lines only. Inspect the exposed structural subfloor and remeasure cable/opening heights from subfloor = 0.000.
- Waste: choose and test the supported 2-in route, trap/HepvO configuration, reducer if any, fall and cab-side maintenance access before cutting the 5-in hole.
- Driver structure: measure 80/20 spacing, connection points and coplanarity. The 52.5 room width already starts at its room-side face.
- Fixtures: order the selected Scandvik 14140 today. When it arrives, dry-fit the mixing bridge, rail, hand sprayer and hose, then mark the two 5/8-in mixer penetrations, rail mounts, adapter depths and service clearances before placing any 3/4 blocks.
- Cab wall and ceiling: record maximum bolt projection; make a full-size shell template; cut paired ribs from that template, not the 14.335-in reference radius, and dry-fit the five transverse battens before laminating skins.
- D2: confirm the PC100/200 hanger pack and 4-ft short track with Woodward's, then record the delivered section depth, trolley centers, stop positions, minimum head clearance and BG1 guide engagement before trimming anything.
- Microcement: get written approval for the complete system over wedi in a moving vehicle, including joints and maximum movement.
- wedi: get written attachment direction for the vehicle framing and approval for 1/4-in panels on the kitchen plywood and wardrobe. The current Wedi manual already permits field-cutting the base, subject to its 2-in drain clearance and 1/2 x 1/2 channel rules.
- Ventilation: no action is required for today's core order. Keep the reserved fan/porthole zone clear and reopen the package before closing or cutting the cab wall.
Practical release state: the intact D1 partition, standard oak 1 x 2 and 1 x 4 frame boards, 12 mm 9-ply Baltic-birch D1 leaf stock, curved-ceiling skin/battens, D1 hinge and Scandvik fixture are released now. The D2 hanger pack and uncut track release after a quick retailer compatibility/stock check. The complete wedi core kit releases after the underside drain-route check. Cab-overlay thickness, permanent vehicle fasteners, final door cuts, waste route and both fixed-surface and D1-leaf microcement chemistry remain controlled gates.
